At Design Theory Interiors, every product is carefully selected to reflect our standard of quality, craftsmanship, and design.Please review our store policies below regarding exchanges, store credit, damages, and other important terms before completing your purchase.
2. General Policy
All sales are subject to store approval and product availability.Prices, descriptions, and specifications are subject to change at any time without notice.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders at our discretion if a product is unavailable, incorrectly priced, or suspected of fraudulent activity.
3. Exchange & Store Credit Policy
Due to the nature of our inventory, including home furnishings, décor, and specialty design items, all sales are final.Design Theory Interiors does not offer monetary refunds under any circumstances.
In limited cases and at our discretion, we may approve an exchange or in‑store credit only, provided the following conditions are met:
- The item is unused, in new condition, and in its original packaging
- The request is made within 7 days of in‑store pickup
- Proof of purchase is provided (receipt or confirmation email)
All exchanges or credits require approval and inspection prior to acceptance.
Approved in‑store credit will be issued for the purchase price of the item and must be redeemed in‑store. Credits have no cash value and are non‑transferable.
4. Non‑Exchangeable Items
The following items are not eligible for exchange or store credit:- Custom furniture, custom upholstery, or special‑order items
- Sale or clearance merchandise
- Opened, used, or altered items
- Gift cards or promotional credits
- Items damaged after pickup
We reserve the right to refuse any exchange or credit request that does not meet these criteria.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
All items should be inspected at the time of pickup.If damage or a manufacturing defect is discovered, please notify us within 48 hours of pickup by emailing with photos and a description of the issue.
If approved, we may offer a replacement, repair, or in‑store credit at our discretion. Monetary refunds will not be issued.
6. Custom & Special Orders
Custom furniture, custom upholstery, and special‑order items are made or ordered specifically for you and cannot be canceled, exchanged, returned, or credited once placed.Full payment or a non‑refundable deposit may be required at the time of order.
Lead times and delivery estimates vary based on manufacturer and material availability and are not guaranteed.
7. Warranties
Unless otherwise stated, Design Theory Interiors does not provide independent warranties on products sold.Any applicable manufacturer warranties will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
Original proof of purchase is required for all warranty‑related claims.
8. Refunds & Credits
Design Theory Interiors does not issue monetary refunds, including cash, card, or digital payment reversals.Approved credits are issued as in‑store credit only and must be redeemed in person.
Shipping or delivery fees (if applicable) are non‑refundable.
9. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for safely transporting purchased items after pickup.Design Theory Interiors is not liable for damage, loss, or wear once an item leaves the store.
Please ensure items are properly secured and protected during transport.
10. Policy Updates
Design Theory Interiors reserves the right to modify this policy at any time.Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
